ICCDK sits inside a wider ICCD-linked ecosystem

The organizations below shape how ICCDK presents its cooperation model in Kenya. ICCDK's role toward each of them is facilitative: connecting Kenyan enterprises to what already exists at the ICCD and OIC level, rather than duplicating it.

ICCD Global

Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development

The core global chamber platform to which ICCDK is affiliated. ICCD describes itself as an affiliated organ of the OIC and the representative of the private sector across 57 member countries through member federations and chambers, alongside affiliated entities, with a membership of 68 business entities across four continents.

Islamic Chamber Halal Services (ICHS)

ICCD's executive arm for halal services, focused on growing the global halal market, facilitating business opportunities, organizing halal events, and offering halal certification and market platforms.

Islamic Chamber Training Academy (ICTA)

A capacity-building platform within the ICCD ecosystem focused on leadership development, chamber development, customized training, and professional skills enhancement.

Islamic Chamber Research and Information Center (ICRIC)

A research and information institution linked to ICCD's wider economic mission, relevant to ICCDK's research, knowledge products, and market intelligence.

OIC Arbitration Centre (OIC-AC)

A platform for alternative dispute resolution in commercial and investment disputes, relevant to business confidence and Islamic finance-related ADR.

Islamic Centre for Development of Trade (ICDT)

Officially styled the OIC Trade Centre, focused on intra-OIC trade promotion, trade cooperation, and market development.

Standards and Metrology Institute for Islamic Countries (SMIIC)

Sets standards across OIC member states, works to eliminate technical barriers to trade, and establishes conformity assessment, standardization, metrology, and accreditation activities.

Islamic Development Bank (IsDB)

A multilateral development bank promoting social and economic development in member countries, relevant to development finance dialogue, infrastructure partnerships, and Islamic finance leadership.

International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC)

A member of the IsDB Group established to advance trade among OIC member countries through trade finance and trade-related technical assistance.

Islamic Organization for Food Security (IOFS)

Works to ensure sustainable food security in member states through technical expertise, food-security monitoring, and agricultural policy coordination — directly relevant to Kenya's agribusiness and halal food development pathways.

SESRIC

Contributes socio-economic statistics, economic and social research, and training programs that strengthen cooperation among OIC member countries.
